On the Home Page, and at the top of all the other pages, is the main search facility. The left hand box has a drop-down menu of a list of sports so that you can search for a book within that sport or just use the 'All Books' default. In the right-hand box you type in a keyword relative to the book or books you are looking for. This can be a book title, author or another key word which might appear in the description of that book. Then click on GO and the results of your search will be displayed in alphabetical order. You can then click on an individual product for more information on that book or you can refine your search further by searching within those results listed. Use the Page Navigation links at the bottom of the page to view all the pages. Once you have found a book you would like to order then simply click on Add to Basket. You can then either carry on searching the site or proceed to the checkout. [ Back to Top ]
You can access books on any particular sport from any page on the site. All you have to do is click on one of the main sports listed on the left-hand side. Clicking on Other Sports will provide a further list of sports from which to select. Alternatively you can click on one of the horizontal sport colour bands on the Home Page. Either method will take you to the Home Page of the particular sport you have selected. From there you can search further within the sport or view latest releases, bestsellers, forthcoming books, special offers and signed books. [ Back to Top ]
Go into any of the pages of the sport you're interested in and click on the Latest Releases icon at the top of the page. On the main Home Page and the home pages of each sport are books specially selected by us. These tend to be latest releases, bestsellers and special offers, and you can click on any of these books to find further information on that specific title. [ Back to Top ]
Click on Coming Up at the top of the page and this will give you a list of all forthcoming books for this particular sport. [ Back to Top ]
By clicking on Advanced Search you can specify the scope of your search. Fill in one or more of the Title, Author, Keyword boxes, plus specify which sports you want to search within. You can also specify how you would like your search results displayed Ö by title, author or best match to your search criteria. [ Back to Top ]
In each of the sport home pages you will find a Browse by Subject list. This includes categories such as Biography, Play the Game, Club etc. By clicking on one of these categories, for example Biography, a list of biographies within that sport will be displayed. [ Back to Top ]
You can select a specific sport, or search for books using the keyword facility and search by price range. You can also search by club if you tick football. And you can browse through the Bestsellers, Latest Releases, Coming Up, Special Offers and Signed Books. We are adding new books to our website all the time, but we welcome information on books we might have missed. If you contact us we will do our best to get the book for you. Our details are in the About Us section on each page or you can submit a query using the Contact Us form or click on Ask Us. [ Back to Top ]
At the bottom of the details for each book is the option to add a review. Click on Add my Review and fill in the details required. Your name and city will be displayed with the review, but your email address will only appear if you tick the box. We welcome the opinions of our customers about the books they have read and reviews also provide useful information for other browsers. Checking the website frequently is the easiest way to keep up to date. you're welcome to call us on 01763 262959 to enquire about any book you can't find on the site. If you have requested a catalogue you will be on our mailing list for future catalogues featuring new books. You can use the keyword search facility to look for books on your club, use the drop-down menu list of clubs in the Advanced Search option or select the Clubs subject category within football. You can order as many books as you choose. Postage and packing is free in the UK regardless of how many books you order. Each book you order will be displayed in your shopping basket so you can see what you are ordering as you search through the site. If you are ordering from overseas and place an order for more than three books, you can select an option in the shopping basket to request a reduced airmail rate for bulk purchase. We do not store any customer details online so there is no password or log-in requirement. When you place your first order a unique personal account number is allocated to you. Whenever you place an order all you need to do is enter your account number and email address. You only need to complete the full order form if any of your details have changed since your last order. Your unique personal account number is there to make the ordering process quicker and easier. It allows us to find your details from our records (which are not on the web). When you have submitted your order you will receive a confirmation from us that your order has been received. You may like to print this for your reference. You will then receive an email from us to confirm that your books have been despatched. In most cases, we fulfil orders in 48 hours. We only process the payment when the books are being packed for despatch. This allows you to place an order for a book that is being reprinted or is not yet published in the knowledge that you will not be charged for that book until we send it to you. [ Back to Top ]

No. The prices you see on the website and on your confirmed order are what you pay. Postage and Packing is free in the UK unless you choose the Next Day Delivery service. There is currently no VAT on books. Delivery
Delivery is FREE in the UK. We do offer a Next Day Delivery service for which there is a flat rate charge of only £5.99 regardless of how many books you buy. We do have to charge for postage overseas although we have simplified this to just two rates for standard size books, one for Europe and one for the rest of the world. The charges are detailed in Post and Packing. Please note that there are a few books where, because of their size and weight, the airmail postage and packing is more than the standard rates. This is reflected in the postage and packing element in your shopping basket before you move on to submit your order. [ Back to Top ]
If you are ordering from overseas and you have put three books or more in your shopping basket, you can request a reduced rate on the airmail postage and packing when you submit your order. We are normally able to offer up to 20% discount, but this may be less if the books you have chosen are particularly heavy. The despatch and delivery times for most orders is 4 to 6 days in the UK. If there is likely to be any delay due to the non-availability of a book, we will contact you. The only way of guaranteeing that your book will arrive the following day is to use our Next Day Delivery service. This costs only £5.99 regardless of how many books you order or the weight. They are guaranteed to arrive the day after posting but we must receive your order before midday. This service is available Monday to Friday and in the UK only. [ Back to Top ]

Yes. Complete the relevant details on the order form concerning gift tags and wrapping and the name and address the gift is to be sent to, and we'll do the rest. The cost for this service is £2.50 and will appear in your check-out details if you select it. You might also want to make use of our Gift Search facility to help you find a suitable gift. If you wish to return a book because it isn't what you wanted, you can do so within five days of receiving it as long as it is in a saleable condition. We can then offer you an exchange for another book or a credit against your next order. We pack our books carefully and securely but occasionally a package may be damaged in the post. If this is the case you can send it back to us and we will refund your return postage. Occasionally parcels do take longer than they should to reach their destination. Depending on the number and weight of the books you are ordering, we use Royal Mail and Parcelforce home delivery service in the UK and Royal Mail Airmail for overseas. Remember, Post and Packing is free for any order in the UK. [ Back to Top ]
If your order arrives via Royal Mail, in the case of single books, these will mostly fit through a standard mailbox. If this is not possible, then Royal Mail has a policy of leaving a card to let you know they have a parcel for you. The Parcelforce home delivery service requires a signature on delivery but they will try and leave a package safe or witha neighbour if no-one is available to take delivery at the address given for delivery. If there is no one at the address and they are unable to leave the parcel safely they will leave a card with contact details for you to arrange an alternative delivery date. [ Back to Top ]
We send a copy of the invoice with your order. This details your name and address, customer account number, specific order number, the items bought and costs, and your method of payment.
